I'm going to disagree. This is a cute, nicely produced, cleverly themed tossing game. Kind of an advanced Zen Flower Showdown. Perfect for the 7-12 crowd, I think. If they can assemble the dice, that may take adult intervention.
If my kids were still that age I think I'd blow the dice up, let them color them, then assemble them. That would be a kick.
I'm going to recommend this to a couple semi-gaming families with younger kids.
