This file contains rules and cards for a version of WW based on the tv show Lost. Included is a separate deck of cards for players that get eliminated, so they can remain in the game.
Very neat idea - I'll have to get a large group to try this some time. I have a few questions first:
Kate's ability to "Name a player you believe is an Other". I'm not sure how this is different from what nearly every player is doing along the way anyways - during the Day phase wouldn't there be lots of speculation about who is an Other anyways? Maybe I'm missing something (having not play tested this yet)?
Michael - So, if Walt is abducted and Ben is captured by the Freighties, is Ben released, robbing the Freighties of the win? I assume not, but the rules don't technically say that. I also assume that Michael must "reveal" his role when the conditions are met?
Sayid/Anna Lucia - if they are purged, what happens if they pick Ben or Jack to be purged with them?
Ben - do you have any suggestions on how to get the cards switched without anyone else knowing that it actually occurred?
I may have more questions before or after I play test this (which may not be for some time). My friends love playing your Werewolf version, though I've never had a game with more than 11 yet... I need more friends.

Normally when you get abducted or captured (essentially the same thing from 2 different perspectives) your character is "purged" (that is, eliminated), and you don't get to say anything. Kate gets to at least make one final decree when her role is revealed.

If Ben hasn't already been killed by the Freighties, then yes, he is freed. It's quite easy for the Freighties to kill Ben, so long as there are 2 or more Freighties. They can't begin choosing people to purge themselves until there are at least 2 of them opening their eyes during their portion of the "night" phase. Michael's role IS revealed when he uses that ability, and he's immediately purged as well (but Michael's role gets reshuffled back into the Purge deck, so who knows when he comes back into the game?).

Ben and Jack can't be purged under normal circumstances, so their roles get revealed, and they are considered abducted/captured.

The switch must occur during the "night" phase when the Others are active, so they are the only players that have eyes open. We've just had the Ben player wave his role at the Moderator and point to the player he wants to trade with. The Moderator then makes the switch during his/her normal "drift among the players while their eyes are closed" mode.

You said, "If Ben hasn't already been killed by the Freighties, then yes, he is freed."
Is there a condition when Ben would have been killed (captured, I assume) by the Freighties and the game is not over? As I understand, as soon as the Freighties capture Ben (assuming Walt has not been abducted), the game is over.
Also - what happens when the Losties capture Jack or Walt? What about if the Freighties capture one of them? In neither case were they "abducted", so how is that dealt with?
You said the Freighties don't start capturing until there are two Freighties in play, but the rules say the Freighties start after the second Purged role. It's possible to have two purges without having two Freighties, so how does that all work?
What can I say - I always dreamed of being a playtester.
I may need to update the rules regarding when the Freigties are activated (thought it made it into the uploaded version, but apparently not!).
So, officially, they don't start doing their thing until there's two of them.
The way we've been playing the Freighties is by having them choose their next target at night, after the Others' make their own selection, but only the Moderator knows if they are successful. The target is simply ignored during the Day round (that is, the Moderator can indicate that Ben was not found by the Freighties in the night, but does not tell who was chosen). I thought about having some rule about if the Freighties pick Alex, but then again, it didn't get them anything on the show either.
It doesn't matter whether Walt is in anyone's clutches- if the Freighties get Ben, then they win. It's the Losties that need to get Ben and eliminate all of the other Others in order to win (which they can do, even if Walt has been abducted- it's Jack that can't be nabbed).
If the Losties choose Jack or Walt to be captured, their roles are revealed, but they are still in the game. Those players still discuss and vote... they've just tipped their hands to the bad guys.
It's quite a bit different from your typical WW game, to be sure.
