Any printing suggestions? Just letter paper? Any scaling settings that look better?

Well these are large tiles, designed for 28-30mm minis. Each Tile takes a full page, you can tell Acrobat to print "multiple pages per sheet" and set that to 2, 4, 6..etc, depending on what size minis, and how many pages/ink you want to use.

They look great full size, 1 tile per sheet, but again its large and will eat up ink. (approximately 8" from hex tile tip to tip)

I printed mine with an inkjet on regular paper, they look fine this way, but because they are so large, you definitely want to mount them to something thick. Card stock won't be enough. I'd suggest matte board or thin cardboard (think priority mail boxes which are free)

If you scale them to 91%, they fit quite nicely on Bionicle Adventure Game: Quest For Makuta tiles. These bad boys interlock:

as seen in my completed copy:

Though someone with more patience and dexterity than I could do a better job on the tabs...

At this scale, they still hold 28mm-ish figures just fine. With about an inch and a quarter per hex space (edge to edge) there's plenty of room in the hexes for a standard base. The Big Guy is apt to overflow the space a bit, though, depending on the base used.
