ZanziarRulebook-v8.pdf (3.14 MB) (Log in or Register to download.)
This is the very last version of the 'old' Zanziar rulebook.

We intend to make an all-new-Zanziar-release for Essen 2013, which will have vastly
updated components and streamlined game mechanics.

This version, already, is having some rather large changes compared to old releases, such as:
* No more movement cards
* No spell fumbles
* Starting cities are chosen, not randomized
* Starting units & items are rather different than they used to be
* Layout is A4 folded to A5 format, which is easy to print and read

I will fix errors from this version, still, but I intend to make no major changes to 8.x rulebooks.
Instead, within March 2012, I hope to get new Zanziar -- 2nd Edition rulebook, which
is intended for the game testing only. It will probably have all pics stripped off and most
likely it'll be far shorter in other ways as well.

Should you be interested of game testing 2nd Edition Zanziar, let me know (info@zanziar.org)

7.0.8 corrects a lot of typos, fixes some missing information concerning teleporting and removes couple of paragraphs which were doubled.

7.0.4 is concentrating to following details:
* Completely new, simplified movement system with examples
* Plenty of small typo fixes and clarifications
* One bug in hero goals (important)
* Decrease randomness and make game faster by having SELECTED starting cities
* OPTION: A simple reroll addition to decrease randomness

Comments are welcome! (info@zanziar.org)

6.29c version. A very small correction: Diplomacy symbol and Con symbol were in wrong order. Otherwisely just the same as 6.29 version. Highly recommended for all players with the (old) printed rulebook.
