This is ambiguous. I think you mean at the other end of the track. If not, please explain where you got this information; the official rules do not claim this.

I changed "Place Dice at the end of the track" to "Place Dice off the right end of the track for now". It's uploading now.

(I don't really think it matters where you place the dice. Either the Epoch will end and the dice will be returned, or you'll trigger a 3+ Sun event...and the dice will be returned.)
