Excellent idea. I would likely have asked for this if you hadn't just provided it! 18xx rules lookups are fiddly enough.

I'll be interested to go through the rules once I have my copy of the game in light of some discussions over in the Steam Over Holland forum where a number of oversights of the form of default 18xx assumptions that players were assumed to know turned up.

This was asked for by the playtesting group, and I thought it would be a good thing to have here as well. I just modified this to make a Level 2 book, and found some mistakes, though. blush

I'm going to need to update this soon, but it's better than flipping back and forth between 3 different levels of rules!

I heartily agree on the flipping, but think the idea of rules differences as I understand you've arranged them is really ideal for teaching. But it is awful as a reference. Keeping both perfectly in sync will be a little extra work, but is exactly what you signed up for when you decided to create a teaching-focussed 18xx game.
