I resubmitted this file with a new tweak in it for balancing 2-player games (IF you find the Egyptian Elephant is too powerful in the early game). This is it:

2-PLAYER EQUALIZING RULES:
A) Use only the Greek and Norse cultures, or..
B) Use the rules found in the file section:
Artificial Intelligence for AOM.doc Jan, 13, 2004, or..
C) Egyptian Elephant RAMPAGE: If an Elephant rolls any Ones(s) in battle
while using its “Bonus” dice it RAMPAGES and is placed back in the
Egyptian “Holding Area” after that battle if it wins or ties.

Basically, if an Elephant fights a "Mortal" it gets a 2 die bonus. If it rolls any ones during that combat it immediately goes back to the "Holding Area" on Egypt's playing board unless it's killed. If it leaves during a tie a new battle is fought with new units or either player can withdraw. If it wins it kills the enemy unit before rampaging back to the Holding Area.
