I like most of these, except this one:

When attacking with a missile weapon, you don’t loose a life token if you fail your combat roll. That’s the advantage of missile weapons; and that’s why you pay to use it.

Doesn't that mean that with a missile weapon I just take the figure off?

Let's say I roll a 3, I can either add a bullet or roll again. Since there's no penalty, why wouldn't I roll again until I get a 4 or better?

Each and every shot will cost you 1 white skeleton.
In my opinion, that's already a high enough penalty.
Because of that "payment" of 1 skeleton up front (without adding it as a bonus to your roll) it more or less balances.
A roll of "3" in close combat, calculating in the paid skeleton, would have been a "4" in total. With the bow, it isn't. So in every case, when you add skeletons to your dice roll to increase the result, you pay one skeleton more than in close combat.
(The only time it pays off NOT to raise the roll and roll again is when you roll a "1" - as long as you don't roll it again.)

(please correct me if you think I'm wrong.)

Keeping in mind that you can win the game with the points the skeletons give you, every time you use the bow, you give up 1 point. That point could be very important. But you have the option to do that, in order to make sure that your guy isn't hurt.

I created this rule simply because I couldn't see how the skeleton I am aiming at could hurt my human when he is standing at a save distance. It just didn't feel right (or "realistic").

Best Regards,

Timo
