Don't want to ruin your fun and optimism, but the Hebrew translation contains many mistakes (quite a lot of bad spelling).

Maccabi is written in it with the wrong letter, Seleucid wasn't translated properly, the Dreidel is called "Maccabi tool" (shouldn't a Maccabi tool be a hammer?) and the like.

The translator was in the Israeli Air Force where she did English to Hebrew translation so I am confident that her translations are sound.

I'm sorry Flaster, but I have to agree with Nadav. Your game looks really fun , but the Hebrew translation is wrong. For example "oil lamp" was translated as "oil bulb".
BTW, why in your game the Jews fight the Seleucid empire and not the Greek empire?

Urm, that part is right.
The Maccabeans fought the Seleucid (except the Seleucid is misspelled in the Hebrew translation of the rules) empire. The term 'Greek', used to describe the Seleucid, was a misnomer. The Seleucid Empire was a Hellenistic Empire created by one of Alexander's successors (the Diadochi), a Macedonian, and most of the citizens of that empire were not Greek at all.

Just to point something out about translations:
There are a lot of bad translators in Israel, sometimes they translate badly because they do not know English well enough, or perhaps the subject material is unfamiliar to them (and they are too lazy to research it), but also sometimes they don't even know Hebrew as well as they think they do.
And the Israeli military isn't exactly the sort of place to have high standards for translations and they don't have professional translators (I recall having to translate some documents when I served there from Hebrew to English).
