Yeah, I'll probably make labels like I did for Perry Rhodan.

The English (Mayfair, Kosmos) version of this game has major discrepancies with the text provided in the file above. The problem is I prefer the wording in Travis' translation and I think it might be "correct". There are 5 cards I can see which have different effects in Travis' translation than the Mayfair official English cards.

Ellen - The Mayfair wording makes no sense. Travis has the same text on both this card and Regan Hamleigh.
William Hamleigh - Mayfair says return to "reserve", Travis says return to "Supply"
Brother Remigius - Mayfair does not limit to row or column
Empress Maud Grants a Favour - Mayfair says take from "Reserve", Travis says take from "camp" which I take to be supply.
Volunteer Workers - Mayfair takes 2 raw materials from reserve. Travis takes from "camp" which I am taking to be supply also Travis converts them to building materials which Mayfair does not.

I would let this all pass, seeing the translation as a kind gesture by a fan to allow early English speaking adopters of the German / French version to play the game, with the official English version making this interpretation redundant. Big however - I think this amateur translation might be how the game was meant to be and Mayfair might have seriously gone awry with its version. It would be nice to have this cleared up.

I will Make a Forum-Rules article on this which I think is a better location for any debate on this issue.

German text: Nutze 1 neutrale Karte oder 1 blaue Personenkarte, die auch belegt sein darf, aus dieser Reihe oder Spalte.
Gilt nicht for "1x"-Karten

So you can use another card in the same row or column as the Ellen card, regardless of whether or not the card has a person marker. However, one can NOT use a "1x"-card.
Interesting feature as it allows to use a card which is NOT in your selected row/column.

Quote:

German text states "in seinen Vorrat", so Supply it is.
Vorrat is different from "Lager": you start with 3 raw materials in your "Lager" at the beginning of the game [and where you keep your money and seals]. I don't have the Mayfair rules so don't know what "word" they use for this: "camp"?

Exactly the same as the Ellen card

German text talks to "Lager" ["camp?"]

German text states "Lager" = "camp?".
You can convert 2 raw materials [wood-sand-stone-sheep] into Building material [which you can directly build on the 3 building cards]
