This is the most recent version of the Point Cost calculator. It has been partially adapted for 2.0 (some elements are missing, such as attack bonuses and fixed ranged damage, but many of them are present). No fudging is required - this version is fully accurate.
To use this file, enter your stats in the upper section. The first click is on the left. In the lower area, for each space where you wish to give an ability, change the 0 to a 1 to mark that square as having that ability.
The total appears in the yellow box in the top right.
If you DO wish to make a 2.0 figure with an attack bonus, just make two versions (one where the attack value is without the attack bonus and one with it) and average the two point totals to calculate the true cost. Do the same for figures with a fixed ranged damage. This is not perfect, so be careful and exercise caution.
For figures with the Magic Immune defense type, just give your figure magic immunity for their whole dial.
