The only thing I've always hated about Alhambra is that almost all of the downtime each turn is spent looking over at every player's city to see how many of each color they have to determine where everyone is in the majority for each color. This board removes that downtime, and you'll just spend all your time playing the game.
You'll need 6 cubes in each player's color. Place one cube for each player on the name of each type of building. Whenever a player places a building of a color in their city, move their cube up one space on that color's track. If they ever remove a building of a color, move their cube down one space. This way, you can easily see who is in 1st place, 2nd place, and 3rd place for each color, at a single glance in one place on the table.
NOTE: If your cube reaches a space with the white outline, you have the majority of that color IN THE ENTIRE GAME, so you are "safely" in 1st place for the remainder of the game.
