Very cool,
Thanks for the upload!

Clarification:

"Promotion
Must be done if piece has no
possible moves left
May be done after moving to
any space in the far three
rows..." ("...OR when moving back from one of those three rows")
Capture ends promotions
G Promotion has no effect.
K, J can't be promoted"

We must be...increasingly on the alert to prevent them from taking over other mineshaft space, in order to breed more prodigiously than we do, thus, knocking us out in superior numbers when we emerge!

I know this is is a year past the last post here, but the clarification is correct.

To clarify further:

"If a piece starts or ends its move within your opponent's promotion area, you have the option of promoting it (unless it has no further legal moves, in which case it must be promoted). A piece must move at least one square in order to be eligible for promotion. Once a piece has been promoted, it can never be demoted (unless it is captured). Note that a piece dropped into the promotion zone is not immediately promoted (it did not move). Instead, it must move at least once, at which point it can be promoted like usual."
