Laz's Ultimate Werewolf - Ultimate Edition Victory Condition Chart

The purpose of this chart is to provide a reference to the players of what their victory conditions are for different combinations of special roles, Minions, and Lovers. This is one sheet of a larger project which should be released in the future.

I see what you are trying to get at but I am not sure excel is the best way to convey the info. Seems more complicated than needed. What would be more helpful would be a document like the game overview which I believe came with the Whitebox version. Something like this except perhaps with some changes to ID the 'winning team' like lovers:

Game Overview:
Werewolves have invaded your peaceful village. The villagers must determine who among them is a werewolf and lynch them before the werewolves devour everyone!

The game takes place over a series of game days and nights. During the days the players work together to determine who among them is a werewolf and vote to lynch them. Each night the werewolves choose a victim. The game is over when either all the werewolves are dead or there is the same number of villagers and werewolves.

One player acts as a moderator and all the other players are given a role card each, which they look at but may not reveal to anyone else. The moderator will ask some roles to open their eyes at night (and some only for the first night). Also with some roles the moderator may need to tap players indicating they are to open their eyes.

Days
Villagers who are selected by werewolves at night are identified and declared dead when the village wakes up. Those players selected may no longer speak or communicate with living players until the end of a game.

All players will then talk among themselves and then nominate a player to lynch. The people with the two highest numbers of votes will then get an opportunity to tell why they shouldn’t be voted for before a final vote is taken.
Once a player is lynched his nature or team (werewolf, Vampire or villager) is revealed. Lynched players may no longer speak or communicate with living players until the end of a game.

If Vampires are in the village they select their victims at night but that person does not ‘die’ until the end of the day after the lynching is completed. The victim’s nature is then revealed and they may no longer communicate with living players.

The first night
The moderator tells the entire village to fall asleep. All players close their eyes (no peeking!).
Then individually different roles are asked to open their eyes

Some roles are called out so the people in that group will know who has the same role:
Werewolves, Masons, Vampires, Minions

Some roles are called on individually so that the moderator knows who has that role and so the person with the role may facilitate the use of their special abilities:
Seer, Sorcerer, Hunter, Magician, Tanner, Masons

For the Cupid role the moderator will ask that person to wake up and select two Lovers.
The moderator will then tap the two lovers and they are to open their eyes to see who the other lover is.

Nights
The moderator tells the entire village to fall asleep. All players close their eyes (no peeking!).
Then specific roles are called to select a victim or some other action (Seer, Sorcerer, Witch, Bodyguard, and Priest)

Individual Role Descriptions are on the back ->

Something to hand out to people for reference, especailly with new groups.

Actually, this was more intended as a reference for the Moderator. This was NOT intended to be a replacement for the rules or even a summary of the rules. This was meant to bring light onto the various combinations fo rules and abilities that can make victory conditions very confusing.

EX - If a Doppleganger who was selected as a Minion (Vampire) (no card), is selected as a Lover, and then transforms into a Lone Wolf, what do they need to do to win?

The format of this Excel file was the simplest I could devise that would still clearly indicate the goals of someone with various seemingly conflicting conditions. I will admit that I am only 98% confident I covered all possible combinations with this sheet.

I would agree that a short hand-out as you described would probably be useful to newcomers, but that wasn't the purpose of this particular form.

Respectfully,
Laz
