1942-ImprovedSetupCards.pdf (361 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
The included national setup cards in 1942 are lame - they only include the amount of units in each country as text. I've redone them in a grid (similar to those included in the first edition of A&A) and put the units' IPC costs on the same sheet, so that the cards are used throughout the whole game. This also avoids having to check the mobilization area every time to check the IPC cost of units.

Just got this game a week ago. First thing I noticed as deficient were the setup and unit attributes. The font is so small on those cards that come with the game that I struggle even with my glasses on.

Frankly I didn't even notice the unit costs on the right side of the original cards, and made up my own card in Excel - don't know that I need to post it after finding this one, but if there is a need for it, I will. Mine includes the special notes for each unit from the appendix - not all of them, but just enough to remind you of the 'terms and conditions' for each unit type. I had room for that due to not having the setup info included.

Thanks for creating this PDF! I'm going to print and laminate these sheets and use them in my next game.
