I had trouble "getting" the rules and this is my way of organising the rulebook, hoping it's easier to understand. the designer has checked these rules and given his consent to the uploading.

Awesome work! I played this game for the 3rd time this weekend and people liked it but agreed the rules were not very user-friendly and make it hard to teach as well. I planned to do a rewrite of them myself, until I came upon your work. You did a great job of laying things out in a logical manner.
