In order to watch this game and see the blocks face up for both sides, you will need to change your name and password for this game. Here's how: Start the game and join as the observer, then after War of 1812 loads go to the top left of your screen and click on File, then click on Preferences. After that box opens, select the "Personal tab". Change the Name to Nappy and enter xxx for the password. Now the blocks will flip and you should be able to view this game with BOTH the American and British sides face up.
Don't forget to change the settings back to your own name and password before you start a new game of your own. Otherwise, you will be known as "Nappy".
