Can you briefly state what changes were made from v.1 to v.2? Thanks for the file!

Turn 3 intro: + If the Ottomans invade the Habsburgs, then the Habsburg box essentially becomes a Polish region with two purple "Polish" nobles in it (printed in the Habsburg box).

Turn 3, Enemies Expand: Reworked

Turn 4 intro: + , but otherwise acts like a Polish region with two purple "Polish" nobles pre-printed in it

Hm. Windows is saying that V2 is damaged, and my unzip program can't extract it.

Thanks ever so much, Nathan. I thought the rules for Perikles were bad, but GP takes the cake.

You are so welcome! I don't think I could have gotten people through games of this without having done this first.

Set to play this tomorrow. One question, though. There's a "Start of turn" section for turns 1-3, telling how many pieces to put in the Hapsburg box. Turn 4, when everything gets all convoluted, is missing this section. Is this deliberate?

Oh, good! I hope you get to enjoy this singular game as much as I have [after some intense rules research]. Yes, you'll notice that Start of Turn is not formally part of the official turn sequence. It's a bit of an omission, which left me wondering how the heck these Habsburg heads, which were showing up in the examples in the rules, ever got on the map. When we make the transition to Turn 4, the political people (represented by the purple heads) are done, and the militant people (represented by purple cubes) start to take action. So, there's no start-of-turn invasion of political unrest, because later in the turn, the Habsburgs (if they're still around) get physical.
