Very nice work, I'm eager to try it out.

If you are tweaking it, there's a minor typo in the rules: 'There are tow ways to make use of these cards.'
More importantly it's not stated explicitly, so I presume Hawkwood can use his ability once per battle, otherwise he'd be a bit overpowered.
Furthermore da Carmagnola's ability is OK, but how about an alternate for his ability for variants, where retaking regions is already possible for everyone?

Thanks or the feedback. Actually we played with Hawkweood last night and using the ability several times per battle won the game for the player. I'll change that one as you suggest.

As for da Carmagnola, what wold you suggest as an alternative?

Since the variants for retaking regions usually favor the defender somehow, the most straightforward solution would be, that against da Carmagnola the defender wouldn't have any advantage, the battle has to be played as a regular one.

Excellent, thank you.
At first glance you've gone soft on da Carmagnola, but probably you're right; without favoring the defender he would be a steamroller.

Could you reformat these to fit the 3rd edition card size? Compromises to the artwork may have to be made to keep the game text legible.

I don't have any other editions. If you want to do it, I'm happy to share the source files (if I can find them )

If the hi-res source material is available, I can manage from there.
