Version 1.0. Alternative rules for Battle Masters using combat system based on Hordes Of The Things (HOTT).

I recently played a game of Battle Masters with my son. Good fun - I love the pieces and the mat - but I'm not a big fan of the combat system or the initiative cards. In particular, some units such as the Beastmen and the Chaos Archers seem to hardly move to all.

Later on that day I was finishing off some figures for a 25mm Hordes Of The Things (HOTT) army and a thought struck me; why not try and translate HOTT combat rules for use with Battle Masters?

With that in mind I've posted an initial translation set of HOTT on to Battle Master rules.

Still in play test, so I'd appreciate any comments/feedback. You need a copy of Battle Masters to play ;)
