FitG Rules including Nick Palmer's Fix and Mission Cards.doc (1.23 MB) (Log in or Register to download.)
Compilation of all rules (basic, Nick Palmer's Fix and Mission Cards) into one handy word doc. May still include typos and I had to wing Case 23.2 and 23.4 a bit, Nick's Fix was not clear on the issue.

I'll download and take a look at 23.2 and 23.4. I have the General Volume where Nick's fixes are listed exactly. I'll let you know if I find anything amiss.

EDIT: You have a typo in 23.47, there's a part that says Case 32.2, when it should say 23.2. I agree Nick left some parts vague, most specifically Rebellion I suppose means planet in Rebellion NOT Rebel Controlled. Also if the imperials are allowed to put other world out of Rebellion through a domino effect this also affects worlds in Unrest. The original rule didn't allow the imperials to flip worlds on Unrest, but now they can even if there are no other Rebellions around. I wonder if this restriction should be kept or dropped.

In the larger scheme of things I wonder if Nick really meant to allow the imperials to use the Domino Effect to stop rebellions. I guess it would otherwise not be much of a worthwhile mission (except on Capitals and Homeworlds and planets with large resources).

Have been following your evolution of the game with some interest. Unfortunately your rules changes don't quite fit with my "style" of play; I hope your modified game repays you with much pleasure considering the effort you have put into it.

(I have been trying to make a "Turn Sequence" for the original game, which covers many of the omissions and ambiguities in the rules, and that's causing me a majot headache (and it's still not finished!))

I was wondering exactly what rules are introduced/altered in Nick Plamer's fix? I can't find any listing anywhere although it is mentioned in a few places including your game modification. Do you know of anywhere I can obtain them?
