Got me interested in the game, but the example for scoring water tiles is rather confusing.

I'm glad to hear it caught your interest, Carl. Scoring water tiles is really simple - you score 1 point for every other water space or water tile that it touches.

The maximum you can score when placing your water tile is 6, which occurs only if your newly placed tile is entirely surrounded by water.

If you have any other questions, I'll spot them more quickly if they're in the game forums rather than in the comments on the rules and images.

Thanks!
