If you can't find wooden cubes, you can print this excel (or openoffic.org) spreadsheet for some 2D counters. Mount them on (or print the game) some cardboard, and you have counters for the game. I've also included colours that you can glue to a couple of d6's.
If you can't mount them, I've also included corresponding numbers, so you can just role a d6, and see what colour corresponds.
