Thanks! I felt there was a disconnect between gathering crystals on the game board and then placing contribution markers on a separate board. The colors are a little off, and the typeface could be better, but it gets the job done.
I wonder though, could you put, say stickers, on the central tile in a similar fashion as you have done with this tile and not mess up the game?
I have only played it a few times and dont recall if the pawns ever get placed in the center or not and hence might mess up the scoring.
I'm not 100% sure what you mean by putting stickers on the center tile. Do you mean that one would print off stickers to put on the existing tile?
I've played it a dozen or so times with the tile I made, and there's room for all the pawns to be in the center. You just have to keep them to one side or the other. The friends I played with never saw the original obelisk, and the scoring seemed to work fine. Give it a try and let me know what you think : )
Your tile is awesome! I remember I suggested playing it with the obelisk. What a stupid idea! Without the visual aid of your tile we kept forgetting to drop off/make donations with our crystals OR not pay enough attention to how many donation spots were left. Thanks for making your tile!
