This is an SVG file I designed in Inkscape to use as an alternative to the tiles in Rummikub. There are a few reasons for creating these:
1 - Missing tiles from my Rummikub set.
2 - Practice using the light table I'm building.
3 - Practice creating demo cards for my game.
The file consists of 6 layers. The topmost is the Registration Marks layer which shows where to cut the cards once you've printed them. They can also be used to line up the card fronts and backs. The marks were designed so that when you use a corner rounding punch, the marks go away.
The other 5 layers are the card backs (designed by me...pretty basic) and the 4 sets of numbers in red, black, orange, and blue. The 2 jokers are on the red sheet.
You will need to print 8 of the registration mark + card back layers and 2 each of the registration mark + number layers. Once cut out you will have a total of 108 cards (duplicate jokers) and some blank cards. More than enough for you to play Rummikub.
I did this with Inkscape so it will probably be best to use this program as well if you're new to SVG. There are no pages in Inkscape so I did everything by hiding/showing layers.
