3r4 5th v4.pdf (1.63 MB) (Log in or Register to download.)
Added all known (dozens) of Definitive Question Box items that were printed after the publication of The Gamer's Guide. There are quite a few that clear up some outstanding issues.

Also corrected more typos

BUT I MISSED that DQB for 45.3 is located at rule 44.3, Please comment on other errors

Fixes typo in DQB 28.21. Answer should be "yes" but older versions say "no". Mea culpa

This file corrects the previous version by:
1) Removing redundant Defintive Question box entries
2) Adjusting page breaks to consoldiate tables
3) Highlights all DQB entries

I've added the Gamer's Guide's Definitve Question Box answers to the approrpriate rules to Lewis Goldberg's 4th edition PDF with Stephen Rochelle's hyperlinks and grammatical correction.

Patrick,

Excellent work!

I do have some recommendations - if you have time to take another look at it:

1. The "Intelligence table" in section 33.5 is broken across pages. Can you insert some line feeds to get it to come together? Better in my opinion to have a little white space, maybe with a parenthetical that says (see table on next page) in italics, and in a smaller font.

2. Insert a page break before the start of the article "YET MORE POSSIBILITIES – ADDITIONAL VARIANT COUNTERS FOR THIRD REICH" Makes sharing easier.

3. Table 3 in the article "BONUS - HISTORICAL NOTES FROM THE 3RD ED. RULES" is also broken across pages - please insert some line feeds.

Of course, when you start this you'll look at each page going forward, and make sure some other table didn't get split.

Thanks for all the work!!

Well that's darn annoying, the .pdf doesn't match up exactly as the the .docx. I'll get right on that -- I missed some highlighting too, amateur work on my part.

Thanks

(edit) File is pending, sorry for the poor proof-reading, oh and I removed the extraneous DQB that was at the end of the rules.

I must have goofed in uploading the file as the updated version was rejected by BGG.

I have resubmitted the corrected file.

I notice that Stephen Rochelle is still making some updates to his version. Will you two come together for a merged rules set?

Also, for the next update, don't forget to add your name to the new version credits on page 53.

This whole project rocks.

Stephen is keeping the DQB seperate and is creating a sub-list of the more nebulous rules and their options. A sort of "Agree on these before you play" argument preventer (reducer). I've decided to help just by throwing my two-cents in on his forum questions.

I just wanted this file to help the folks who don't have all the DQB or don't like thumbing around two sets of rules.

If you don't mind me asking, what's the difference between these rules and the fourth edition rules that come with the game? Have you changed any rules, or just inserted DQB clarifications?

I did have a quick look through but I didn't see any description of what the changes are, so I apologise if I missed it.

DQB is added at appropriate rule, and some simple grammatical errors corrected. Rules references are linked if document is opened in .pdf format.

No significant rules were altered.
