Ivanhoe Brief by Liumas 2012-03.pdf (294 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
Everything you need on 1 double-sided page which will fit inside the box. Setup, turn sequence, and card reference. Prints well in color or in black and white. Also includes a 12-point nutshell brief, which is what I read aloud before every game.

The wording on Change Weapon is kind of awkward. Perhaps:

Change Weapon: Change from
red, yellow, or blue tournament
to a different one of these colors.

So the quote from wmcduff above is clearer than what I have in there now?

Change Weapon: Change color of
tournament from red, yellow, or
blue to a different of these colors.

I like how William made his change fit in the existing space on the player aid, cool, that really helps!

I'll make this change and upload it if people think it's better.

Suggestion
"2 purple tournaments can't
happen consecutively"
to
"be started consecutively"
or
"You can't start 2 purple
tournaments in a row" might also work.
on basis that it will fit into existing space and a purple tournament could be changed into another colour.

The new tournament section might also benefit from a change
"...if the
previous tournament started as purple."

Tournament end section. Might pay to delete the word "displayed" as the rules make a point that shield and stun are not part of the display.

Thanks for sharing your file. You've done a great job.

Good ideas...

That's not right! But I have changed the wording to prevent future questions...
"...if the prior tournament’s final color was purple."

Done, changed, took out 'displayed', great point.

It isn't based on how the prior tournament started, but how it ended. The wording again makes it murky. Still, to prevent further questions, I'm revising the wording. It's just supposed to be some quick bullet points at the end... but it may as well avoid questions.
"Can’t start purple tournament
if last tourney ended as purple."

Thanks for taking the time to be picky! Nice work, Chris, thanks.

I've made these changes locally and will upload a new file soon.

I had to print out two of these new ones for myself, and toss the old ones.

I'm curious how many people print such an aid as this on 2 separate pages, or on a single double-sided page. I think this one here will work well either way, but it's intended for a single page, double-sided - I love having less clutter on the game table, and I'm willing to flip a sheet for that.
