Even Deals with a Sticheln Deck.doc (29 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
This file tells you what types of even deals are possible. For instance, if you have six players and you want to play a game with five suits, what cards should you remove from the deck to make the deal come out even? This can be useful info if you want to adapt a Sticheln deck to try out other card games.

I have found this list useful when I wish to expand, say, a game using a regular 52 card deck beyond its normal range. Dealing 8 people into a game of Oh Hell!, say, or six people into a game of Israeli Whist (my current favorite regular card deck game).

For an example of using a Sticheln deck to support 6 players in Israeli Whist, see here: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/article/4780391#4780391

If you cut out the text and fold it in half, it fits into the Sticheln box.
