Thanks to Lines42 for catching a discrepancy. The following Reminder on page 1 of v2.0 is incorrect and has been removed:

Wolves get 1 PP per turn, per human character in the game - including hostages!

The FAQ answer on page 8 predates the reminder as an unofficial rule call in the BGG forums by duchamp on 1/23/10: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/article/4534322

The following is presumed correct:

Q: The rules state that the werewolf player receives as many planning points (per turn) as there are characters that started the game. Does this include the two characters taken as hostages? For example, in a three player game does the werewolf get 4 planning points (for the four characters played by the human players) or 6 planning points (including the two characters who are hostages)?

A: The hostages do not count.

v2.1 is now the latest version of the FAQ.

Thanks to ArcoIris for the following information. The following Open Question on page 1 of v2.1 has been resolved and removed:

Q: The Silver Bullet combat card has a -3 Combat symbol for the wolf player, but the description of the card in the rules omits this. Is the card correct or are the rules correct?

House Rule: The card is correct.

ArcoIris has officially clarified this open question at the following thread: http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/543004/silver-bullet-combat-...

The following is correct and has been added to the Card Questions section of the FAQ:

Q: The Silver Bullet combat card has a -3 Combat symbol for the wolf player, but the description of the card in the rules omits this. Is the card correct or are the rules correct?

A: It was a misprint, yes, but it has been played and should be played as the card is printed: so the wolf trips with a -3.

v2.2 is now the latest version of the FAQ.

Thanks to ArcoIris for the following information. The following Open Question on page 1 of v2.2 has been resolved and removed:

Q: What happens if I select a Human target for combat, play a Pack Card that makes him lose Calm and he panics? He´ll no longer be in the Werewolves Hex. Would that end combat?

House Rule: All panic effects played during combat take place after combat.

ArcoIris has officially clarified this open question at the following thread: http://boardgamegeek.com/thread/542361/when-to-play-pack-car...

The following is correct and has been added to the Panic Attacks section of the FAQ:

Q: What happens if I select a Human target for combat, play a Pack Card that makes him lose Calm and he panics? He´ll no longer be in the Werewolves Hex. Would that end combat?

A: Playing this card when the combat has begun could be a bad idea, because yes: if the Human who is the target leaves the Hex, and therefore he is no longer in the same Hex than the werewolf, combat ends (the human escapes). Werewolf should play the card before the Sniff attempt to avoid this, so he can try to sniff the character in the Hex of destination after the panic attack.

v2.3 is now the latest version of the FAQ.

Thanks to ArcoIris for the following information. The following Open Question on page 1 of v2.3 has been resolved and removed:

Q: The Ancient Stones hex has 3 wolf icons on it, but the Appendix II Hex Table in the back of the rulebook says it only has 1 wolf icon. Which is correct?

House Rule: The hex is correct.

ArcoIris has officially clarified this open question at the following thread: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/544672/ancient-stones-ki...

The following is correct and has been added to the Misprint section of the FAQ:

Q: The Ancient Stones hex has 3 wolf icons on it, but the Appendix II Hex Table in the back of the rulebook says it only has 1 wolf icon. Which is correct?

A: The right one is always the Hex.

The FAQ has also been majorly rewritten, rearranged, and revised. A Misprint section has been added. v3.0 is now the latest version of the FAQ.
