Excel version 1.1 of Stocks & Bonds. A few minor bugs in the original have been corrected. Specifically some of the random choices for the player to receive "inside information" weren't random.

Wow Professor! This is amazing. I'm going to have to look at this closer to see exactly how it plays. Thanks for making this available for all.

You're welcome.

I used to play S&B as a kid, and didn't really know what was going on, Now I think I sort of do (buy low and sell high).

After reading John Kenneth Galbraith's THE GREAT CRASH 1929, I was inspired to revisit S&B, so I purchased a used copy from a reseller at Amazon.com. But I was then somewhat dismayed to see that, even in a Bear market, most of the S&B offerings gained in value. After reading Randal Bart's comments at http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/395704/after-a-three-dec... and others on the BGG Stocks & Bonds forum, and it being summer between classes, I decided to write, in time for my family's annual 4th of July reunion, this Excel version with some of the factors missing from the original board game: possible correlation from one round to the next, "company financial statements", "expert" forecasts as to what will happen in the future, and insider information.

Hopefully you'll find this version spices up the original game a bit.
