If the article fails, the opposite is true. Thus, the ones against are on the winning side and those for it the loosing side. The rules then state that the article is flipped and those delegates on the winning side with the same bias as the article are worth two points. Thus the two points can be awarded to those on the Nay side if the article fails and their bias is the same as the ahistorical article.

No, I blieve the rules state that you socre the points first then flip the article. So you could not get the 2 points for the matching faction if you voted against the current article.
