DP Troll Lair card fronts.pdf (2.04 MB) (Log in or Register to download.)
For those who wish to spend less time rolling dice in the Troll Lair quest, I have created 157 cards in 7 decks (Locations, Monsters, Encounters, Chests, Door Traps, Chest Traps, and Treasures). This is an 18 page PDF file (9 cards per page) and I have provided a second file for the card backs. I've printed them onto both sides of sturdy card stock, cut them out, then put them into card sleeves. The card backs file is here - http://www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/58182/troll-lair-card-...

Each of the 7 decks contain one "reshuffle" card (at the bottom of the file, depicted by 3 green cards and 2 arrows). At the start of the Troll Lair adventure, shuffle all 7 decks separately, including one "reshuffle" card in each deck. When a "reshuffle" card is drawn, take the "reshuffle" card and the discards from that deck, shuffle all of them back into the deck, and draw a new card.

Each deck has been designed to give similar odds as the Troll Lair scenario's dice tables (and the "reshuffle" cards enhance the randomization). Thus, the specific cards for each deck are as follows:

Locations
-3 "6X6 room with 1 door"
-3 "6X6 room with 2 doors"
-3 "6X6 room with 3 doors"
-3 "6X6 room with 4 doors"
-3 "corner"
-3 "hallway"
-3 "T intersection"
-3 "X intersection"
-1 "reshuffle"

Monsters
-3 "D4 Orcs"
-3 "4 Orcs"
-3 "2 Ghoblins and 1 Orc"
-3 "D4 Ghoblins and 2 Orcs"
-3 "D6 Ghoblins and D4 Orcs"
-3 "6 Ghoblins and D4 Orcs"
-1 "reshuffle"

Encounters
-12 "monsters" (all "monsters" encounters are depicted by an image of a Ghoblin and an Orc - you must still draw from the "Monsters" deck to determine exactly which monsters are encountered)
-12 "2 chests and monsters"
-3 "2 chests"
-3 "3 chests"
-3 "4 chests",
-3 "5 chests"
-1 "reshuffle"

Chests
-9 "locked" (with gold colouring)
-9 "unlocked" (with silver colouring)
-1 "reshuffle"

Door traps
-12 "safe" (depicted by an open door)
-3 "falling stone"
-3 "wing darts"
-1 "reshuffle"

Chest traps
-12 "safe" (depicted by an open chest)
-6 "venom barb"
-1 "reshuffle"

Treasure
-6 "2 coins"
-3 "5 coins"
-3 "antidote" (blue bottles)
-3 "potion of healing" (purple bottles)
-3 "great key"
-1 "reshuffle"

I was able to obtain most of the images (with permission) from the Oversoul Games website - http://www.oversoul-games.com/oversoul_download.html), but where original images had to be created, I apologize for their very rudimentary nature - this is the first time in approximately 2 decades that I've attempted to create original images on a computer!

Cheers, and happy dungeon plungin'!

-Josh
