This is NOT a Chihuahua. It is a Sphynx cat. A bald, grouchy Sphynx cat who will bite you if you mistake him for a Chihuahua.

KremlinHealthCards.pdf (37 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
These health cards are designed to reduce randomness and make the game play faster by replacing both the dice and the big health tables. Draw one per cabinet member instead of rolling the die. Each of the 20 cards features a die result number (1-20), as well as the results for Politburo members of different ages at work and in the Sanitarium. Layout is for Avery 5371 cardstock (10 cards per sheet). Enjoy!

I like the layout of the cards - very easy to read. However, I don't think I would use them as intended. I like the randomness of the roll and I wouldn't like the fact that once a card is pulled, no one else could get that result.

However, I could see printing out a set and using them as reference after the die was rolled.

Thanks.

Thanks! You could, of course, print out 2-3 sets of them if you wanted to keep things more random. Their main purpose is to speed up this part of the game, as it tends to drag on a bit, especially with new players. The inspiration came from the fact that the CRTs found in most of the old Avalon Hill games have been replaced by battle card mechanics in newer titles. Most people seem to like this better than squinting down rows and columns of little numbers.

I'm actually thinking about using the cards for a minor variant that I haven't had time to playtest yet... I'll post the details on the variants forum after I give it a try.
