Settlers of Newport.xls (33 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
The Settlers of Newport is a Seafarers map resembling Aquidneck Island (Newport, Middletown, and Portsmouth), Jamestown, and Prudence Island, all located in southern Rhode Island (which, ironically, is not an island).

Newport is one of the oldest cities in the U.S. and was initially populated in the 17th Century by those fleeing religious persecution. Newport grew into an important New England shipping and naval port and later became a summer retreat for some of the country's richest families. Today, Newport is famous for its mansions, beaches, shopping, music festivals, and the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

On the map, Newport is comprised of the 3 gold hexes. All other hexes, and the numbers, are variable setup. The blue triangles represent the trading harbors. You'll need the 5-6 player expansion for all of the necessary hexes and trading harbors. If you have the Fishermen of Catan, the blue chevrons and hexes mark the spots for the fishing harbors. (Again, you'll need the 5-6 player expansion for the full setup, but you can make do without it.)
