Last Night & Invasion Comparison v1.pdf (37 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
I wanted to build this for my own use, so I figured others would benefit from it as well! This is a great cheatsheet that compares all the little rules differences and similarities between Last Night On Earth and Invasion From Outer Space. Please let me know any thoughts you might have on how to make this even more useful - thanks!

A question about the last item, "Place new figs". Where in the rules does it say Martians are initially distributed evenly among Landing Sites? All I can find in the manual under "Place Starting Martians and Landing Sites" is "Place the rolled number of Martians onto the board from the Martian Pool." There's nothing about distribution.

You are correct! I got that from the Universal Head guide to the game, but I believe they are wrong. In their guide it states:

"The MP (Martian Player) starts with 2d6 Martian Soldiers divided as evenly as possible among the Landing Sites on the board. Two MPs start with 1d6 Martian Soldiers each and are only limited in distributing Zombies evenly by their own color figures."

As you can see, not only does their guide contradict the IFOS rulebook, but they also incorrectly use the word "Zombies" in the second sentence, which says to me they simply copied that block of text from their guide for LNOE.

I will update my comparison accordingly - good find! Thanks,
Jason
