Version number 2 is now available for download, and can be found above.
Version 2 is about 90-to-95 percent the same as version 1. Here is a summary of some of the adjustments (changes) that were made between the versions :
Moderate change.
The computation for the cost (to pay) for removal of a hazard, has been adjusted. In version number 1, there was one formula to compute when there were residential blocks present in a district, and then also a separate formula when there were no residential blocks in a district.
Now, in version number 2, there is one formula for the computation for removal of a hazard, which covers both scenarios of having residential blocks, or not having residential blocks, in a district.
The new equation is :
Half (50%) of the cost of a residential block in that district, multiplied by (X), the sum of the number of residential blocks in that district and (+) one.
For those who need further clarification and help in the computation with this new equation, I have included an example in the download.
Minor changes.
In version number 1, auctions were voluntary.
Now, in version number 2, a player MUST auction (if unowned districts are available) when landing on the “Auction” space or drawing the “Auction” Chance card.
Also in version number 1, the options available to a player when landing on a Planning Permission space were voluntary.
Now, in version number 2, a player MUST perform 1-of-4 options that are available when landing on one of these spaces.
In version number 2, I added a rule to make it clear that, a player may NOT : build more than one bonus building on a district, or build more than one hazard on a district, or build more than one RailRoad (RR) on a district. The rule reads exactly as follows : "Each district is limited to a maximum of one bonus bldg, one hazard, and one RR (located on the outer track)."
There were other very small changes, but not worth much mentioning here. Most of these adjustments were just “wording/phrasing” in nature.
