Six-Letter ACT Word List.doc (160 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
As I considered using this with my class, I also thought it would be great for preparing my sophomores for the ACT. Why not combine study and a great game. There are approximately 150 on this list. Some may be off by a letter--it was 4am when I did this.

...or repeated, like abound and absorb.
As you guessed, you have two 5-letter words in there (abase and drawl), and four 7-letter words (agility, debauch, dialect, and neonate — which is what I was when I was born ). That said, I think you do want a list of 7-letter words after the 6-letter words, because Round 2 of this game uses 7-letter words....

In any event, good idea! You might also consider uploading any new versions as PDFs, although there are numerous free technologies that can open Word docs these days. Utterly your call.

Keep up the good, pre-dawn work! It's worlds better than I'd have done at that hour....

Thanks for catching those. Oh man... That was a long, sleepless night. I'll pull together the 7 letter list soon.

Sure, no problem. Good work, sleeplessness notwithstanding.
