- The Hallmark rules are almost the same--just a little easier. When a horse moves, it moves into the insidemost lane, which is considered ahead of the lanes in the same row. So that means the rules on throwaway cards are much simplified than the version posted here--much fewer cases apply. I don't know which makes for better gaming.
