To assemble the map tiles, print the images onto paper. Cut out along the edges. Be careful with scissors. Glue the papers on to 1/4" foamcore, I like the black on black for this, Don't use white glue, it will curl the paper. Cut the foamcore tiles out with a craft knife. Do not cut fingers.
The tiles will fit together to make a custom playing surface for the game. Find some groovy rules for playing on the lunar surface. Make up scenarios and rules. Terrain on the tiles has:
1. Clear, smooth hexes.
2. Dark hexes are sand, movement there creates dust clouds that can maybe block line of sight or lasers.
3. White spots are rubble hexes. Make up rules for those.
4. Small crater hexes per standard rules.
5. Hexes with lines are crevasses, prevents wheeled or tracked movement, make up a rule. Probably can give infantry a def bonus.
6. Large craters are outlined with dark edges per standard rules.
7. White lines are tunnels for the moonbase. Or roads, or whatever you might like for your scenario.
Although intended for Ogre, you can use these for any number of sci-fi hex and counter games.
I had to break the tiles into separate zips for size upload, so you get zipfiles A - E.
