Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
Go for it!
Also, you could contact Bryan Collars or Rodger MacGowan and see about getting your scenario published in C3i magazine. They're always on the lookout for quality submissions.
Another option is to check with myself or John Foley and see if your scenario fits the theme of an upcoming Battle Pack -- your design might be a good fit as part of the package.
Well, the scenario I am designing is about the attack on the Merville battery in Normandy. So it might of gone well in the Normandy BP. After saying that I have been trying to design a game around Merville before I knew about CC but without much success. I was attracted to CC because of the random length of turns and the wire and blazes which could suddenly appear. Any scenario about Merville should be as much about the terrain, the race against time and the unfortunate events that occurred as the assault on the actual battery. Only 150 men of 650 reached the battery.
In the end I scrapped making a scenario around the DZ and utilised a card system to represent what landed and what didn't land. Various units affect the set up and the OB etc. There are currently 100+ cards to make so might not be that friendly. Originally it was designed for me but I decided to share the scenario for anyone interested. I find CC is a brilliant system for a scenario designer allowing many various set up options. For example one of my options is to put a radio on the time track at a point past the Sudden Death marker.
OK I knew when I started this reply I was going to ramble on a bit and I have. I did though, want to explain why this scenario may not be ideal for most players.
We are looking at designing a late-war US Army vs Japanese expansion module in a certain urban setting. The deck would have to be modified because Banzai attacks were not being utilized by this time.
My parents survived the Japanese occupation of this city and surviving relatives have provided information for the scenarios. Detailed maps of the area are readily available.
