This manual is based on Matthen Monin's idea at http://www.boardgamegeek.com/thread/196544/teaching-tichu, which suggests teaching the game in stages -- playing a stripped down version of Tichu first, then in subsequent stages introducing partnership play, special cards, and bombs.
