Regardless of who it's intended for, the bigger question is what it's intended for. It doesn't actually work with the AI program, since the different line endings break the file. (If not those, then some other change you've made to the file.) If you replace the original cards.txt with your version then the RftG app won't start, and you get this message instead: "Error while reading cards.txt"

The difference in how the lines are that in one case there are codes for 'Carriage return' + (new)'Line feed' and in the other there's just a (new)'Line feed.' Back in the days of the typewriters you had one action to bring the carriage to the starting position and another one to roll the cylinder to give you a new line. In one case the key codes for that has been kept and in the other a carriage return is just assumed from the line feed.
