Hornet Leader Campaign Advanced Rules - Draft.pdf (425 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
Updated version - with better/clearer rules formatting, more clear explanations, fixed multiple missions rule, added Standard Campaign victory values, tweaked starting campaign values, and added some great collateral damage rules by Cameron Harris!

This is a beta ruleset (just 3.5 pages) for a more realistic campaign game. Essentially, you have a finite limit of 18 planes that you must manage throughout the campaign, and introduced is the concept of 'command points' that you accumulate throughout the campaign with successful missions. These points let you request numerous items such as advanced intel, additional CAS and air support, advanced weaponry, and even large-scale Tomahawk/SLAM installation strikes.

Most importantly - the campaign does not end at a set day - it ends with either a defeat, a victory, or a political withdrawal. Try it out - let me know what you think!

Interesting. Thanks for posting this. I'll have to try it when I have time to play a campaign again.
