Looks good! I've been looking at this game on Kickstarter and have been wondering about the rules. Thanks for posting them!

The only questionable area I see in the rules involves the Diplomats in the section about Warp Gate technology. The language seems confusing here.

Overall, though, the work on this game looks quite promising.

Any chance you could provide a summary of changes between v1 and v5?

I'll try to list the changes I can think of:

1. Rules reformatted and reorganized to make things easier to find.

2. Section for Parasites of Sreech added.

3. All actions clarified.

4. Game rounds reduced from 13 to 11.

5. Scoring clarified.

6. Controlling planets clarified.

Of course, these are only the major changes. Many small things were fixed in every section, too numerous to remember.

Since my name is in the rulebook under "Rulebook editing", I feel it necessary to point out that the spelling error ("arguements") and grammatical issue ("secret alliances are underway") in the first paragraph were not in the final draft of the rulebook that I had submitted! shake

Regardless, I'm very excited by the forthcoming release of the game, and am looking forward to writing a review once I have a copy in hand!
