Ascending_Empires_Quick_Rules.pdf (59 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)

Version 1.1

A 2 1/2 page document for Ascending Empires. It is the complete rules, but not exhaustive or repetitive. I use it when explaining the game to a group of people. It assumes that you have the instruction booklet for reference.

In "Recruit Troops," you state that you can remove any number of troops from an Occupied planet instead. Makes it sound like you can do it from only 1 planet. But the rules sound like it can be done from multiple planets. Do you know which is right?

Nice write-up, btw.

Hi. You're absolutely right. That isn't clear in my summary. It should read under Step 1: Recruit Troops:

"You may also remove any number of Troops from Occupied (even Blockaded) Planets instead. These troops go back into your Supply."

Thanks for pointing that out! I will include the revision in a future update.
