Why don't you just print it out with the Print option (in Acrobat Reader) "Multiple pages per sheet" or "Booklet Printing" (the last one is what I use)?

I add on the 1 sheet expansion rules then print it using the booklet option. Comes out at a pretty good size to fit in the tin and has everything I need together. With the couple extra blank pages on this new version, I'm thinking of adding a quick reference sheet to the very back.

is there anywhere in the official rules that explain the function of the preorder mini-expansion items?

I like the clarified trade rules, and the new setup is better as well. I'm disappointed with the choice of "pass the parasite marker", though, for turn rotation, as it makes the parasites significantly less threatening. In a 3-p game, for example, the parasites will attack 25% less. This will make a huge difference in many games.

Let me fist say: never play the game with 3.
The game is not designed for that number of players and alot of its charms (typcial for traitor games) melt like snow in California.
The biggeste difference is in a 4-player game (20% less parasite involvement) and this decreseases rapdidly with more players.

This decrease in the 4-player is compensates with the new placement rules that up the challenge.
Take also note that using the terminal now also spawns parasites after the first use.

Ah, yes -- my bad. That's what I get posting after driving through Washington DC. 8ˆ)

I missed this. It might be enough to make up the difference, actually. The terminal is quite powerful, and it's also a dead end -- the worst place to spawn.

The new way that gray parasites are placed also makes for a more challanging battle against the parasites.
I feel ssafe to say they never have been as challenging as in the previous version of the rules.

The stronghold website still refers to version 2.0

Hence I printed and read them this morning and now need to start over. Just a reminder to save others the trouble.

Asger (Without the min expansion and playing the first game tonight )

Can you supply a printer friendly variant? I'd prefer to have it printed out, but would rather save the background ink.

Hello and thank you for this updated version of the rules. After few games with the original set of rules,I find this version (2.1) better. In particular, the new set-up rules are much more interesting. Hope I will test them very soon.

Can't find any difference in this version than in the original set of rules. Have I missed something..??

Apparently
Now, instead of turning the black parasite to its gray side players replace them with a gray parasite from the reserve.
This makes removing the gray ones in time from the board even more crucial.
