Himalaya variants V2.doc (30 KB) (Log in or Register to download.)
VERSION 3 WITH CORRECTED WORDING! This is a combination of advanced rules from the base game, optional rules from the expansion, excellent variant rules from BGG user Isamoor, and my own variant tweaks. It is a 2-page Microsoft Word document. In order to play with a few of these variant rules you'll also need to print off the Himalaya Village Cards, which can be found in a separate file: http://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/72395/himalaya-village-car... (This is a corrected version of the previous file. It's still a 2-page Microsoft Word document.)

So I'm an idiot and completely left out the "planning" game phase. blush I've submitted a corrected file and it's awaiting approval.

And I'm even more of an idiot than I thought. I just noticed that I made a key word error, switching "lowest" with "highest". On page 2, under point #1 of "Final Scoring", it should read:

"If players are tied for the lowest Yak total, ... "

My idiocy apparently knows no bounds. shake On page 1 under the Phase II heading, I twice wrote "that does not have Resource cubes" when I should have written "that has Resource cubes". The file linked here now has all the corrections.
