Rommel_in_the_Desert_Redux.zip (6.43 MB) (Log in or Register to download.)
Redux only in the sense that its a reworking of the map board after mine got damaged.
Full size, 300dpi. Jpg with no crops or bleed
An early low res version is here
http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/1122848/rommel-in-the-des....
The zipped, updated version here includes some minor fixes and tweaks.
Ideally I'd want to tweak this to work with grey and beige blocks.
It does have hexes but I've knocked them back except for the hex sides of the mountain regions.

Very nice. I have to say I always find the roads/tracks hard to read, so I have wondered what a point-to-point map would look like (eg Crusader Rex).

Thanks Jonathan.

Mike, it does actually have the same hex layout as the original, it's just less pronounced and doesn't show very well on the sample image. I've a real dislike of hexes being too prominent so knock them back when possible. But these are usable at table top level.

It's beautiful. Not to say the Columbia map is bad, mind you, but this is n-i-c-e.
