MoM Combat Assistant 1-2.swf (3.48 MB) (Log in or Register to download.)
This is a Mansions of Madness -random- Combat Card Assistant. This program replaces the need to use the combat decks. You can switch easily from INVESTIGATOR to KEEPER Attacks - Choose the class of monster, then choose from the 3 attacks...the program does the rest. It was made in flash with help of a friend of mine that knows WAY more about flash than I do. Note: It only has the Combat Cards from the core game, none of the expansions. Let me know what you think? thanks :)

Going to play Mansions or Madness? Have a laptop nearby? Do NOT want to be flipping combat cards looking for the one that fits the situation? This application does it all for you!

A really slick idea. Thanks for creating and sharing this app with us Brian!

All the combat cards from the core Mansions of Madness game are the only ones in this flash program as of now. I did originally have the actual cards displayed, but the flash file would have been WAY too big to upload. So I had to write them all out by hand. As soon as I get myself a copy of the expansion Forbidden Alchemy with the new combat cards. I'll incorporate those as well into this flash program.

This is great, thanks!

Question: Does it keep track in any way of the cards drawn? Or would it be possible to get the same card twice in a row?

Also, would it be possible to allow clicking the same button twice in a row without having to hit the Clear button first? If you're worried about double clicking too fast and skipping a draw you could put a re-activation wait timer or something on the button..

No it doesn't keep track of cards drawn, so it will always be random and you may get the same info card multiple times. But I see that being the same case if you were using the cards as well. Since you flip through the cards quite a bit, when you're looking for a 'monster vs. hiding' card...

As for the second question, yeah I'm sure that would be possible to click the button again. And also to add some type of 'wait timer' for accidental double clicking. Since I'm not an expert in flash, I'll havta figure out how to do that.

Thanks for the questions.
