Printing tips...

- Meant to be printed onto 19 sheets of 8.5" x 11", 110 lb. card stock.

- You may wish to print the map and tokens on paper then mount onto something thicker, stiffer, and/or flatter than card stock. Tokens and spice can be single sided if you like. They are easier to make that way, but are easier to sort if two-sided.

- The cards are 10-up, so you can instead print them onto pre-perforated business cards to save time. You'll need nine sheets. Avery are expensive and curl a lot. I used plain stock and a paper trimmer with a jig to make repeatable cuts and got very good results.

- For the map, use Adobe Reader 9 or 10 to tile onto multiple sheets. I printed at 95% scale and 1/8" overlap so I could trim with a little margin for error.

- Tell your printer that you're using card stock. It can make a huge difference. (On my printer, if I don't, the toner can easily be scraped off.)

- Use manual or automatic duplexing, as you and your printer prefer. There is no adjustment for duplexing, but there is a little room for misalignment. Be especially watchful with the treachery cards.

- Print the Battle Card twice if you want every player to have one, as each sheet is 4-up; or print once if you want to pass them around. Print on one side if you like.

It's "Bene Gesserit"... you're missing the extra "S" in "Gesserit."

In the Emperor's Advantage section:

I believe you mean, "...pays Spice..." not "...pays for Spice..."

In the Fremen Section, Part 8:

Did you mean to say this, "They are treated as one tone in revival."???

In the Guild Section, Part 1:

When describing the three possible types of shipments, you can dispense with the "or" after the semi-colon -- if I'm not mistaken.

In the Guild Section, Part 2:

The cost IS one spice...

Hope this helps.

If you've printed it out, please let me know what you think of it, especially what you think could be better.

If you've played it, I'd really like to know about that (since I haven't yet).

Nice! It looks better printed out than I would expected. I'm gonna have to get to work on constructing this, unless you feel like running a teaching session first whistle

I'll be at MBGM next weekend at can teach it there, or perhaps at TCBG on Saturday the 4th, but I can't commit to a time on the 4th. It's also been 20 years since I've played, but I am so Jonesing for it right now!

Chris, do you just print the tiles on card stock too? Are they easy enough to pick up and stack? (I assume they're tiles; I've never actually played the game!)

Steven, all of it should be on card stock, but I don't know what tiles are. If you download and look at the Dune Complete document (which you'll need for the rules and player aid), and read through it, that might help you understand the game components.

Figures that my ignorance would show. blush I was referring to the square components labeled B, H, etc. Thanks for putting this together.

No worries! Those are tokens, markers for fighting forces. I printed mine on cardstock. They could be too lightweight, and might well benefit from pasting to something thicker (for ease of handling) and heavier (so they don't blow away).

[Edited to add] Tokens can be one sided, and are much easier to make that way. The originals are two-sided, so I went with that, but for stickers on gray board, one side is fine.

Awesome work

I am constructing this on A4 paper and seems to be fine, just needed to print the map as "poster" so it segments it and shrink the other files to printable area.

Will let you know how it goes.

Have some bag
